known problems?
I have heard a couple of issues about the problems there would be for single player NS. I was just wondering if anyone knew of all the issues they could think of. I want to make a ns training, probebly marines first. I was thinking I could get a group together and we could make a little training sim. I mean I know you could easily make one for mplay probebly, but i want to real thing not some half @$$ kinda thing(pardon the language I just really want to get my point across). If I'm going to make a training I want it to be worthwhile.
I just want to know of any know problems I could encounter while attempting this and if any of you know how to get around these problems.
Many thanks,

if u make the ready room and the x person(x being the person joining any team) joins m (marines) or a (aliens)... the game loads and then wait... u might need both teams to be full with one or two more people... so how can it start with out someone else in there?

That's why you should probably use some teleporter entity instead of info_jointeam. I'm just not sure, if you can add pickupable weapons in ns map and how this would work in ns. Maybe try checking the original 'hazard course' to get an idea about how things work in it.. (I wonder if there is any decompiled version of it though..) Good luck with the project. I'm really looking forward for a training map and maybe newbies would then stop asking simple questions online .
