Headset Problems

Ok I have a socom 1 headset (The one that comes with socom) and it was working fine for 4-5 months on my computer. But now sometimes I hear little sound or no sound coming from the headset. Also I have to move the wires abit to make the sound become loud normal but it frequently/constantly loses sound or little sound coming from it. It is USB. Can anyone help me fix this or do I need to get a new headset?

    I would guess that the wire into the headphones is loose. If moving the wire around affects the sound then thats probably the problem.

    the wire is loose...you can try unscrewing it and figuring it out, but in my experience waste of time <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
