Also fades crouched behind buildings very often only their heads poke up so you would have to aim there before you rounded the building to get a better shot.
when a skulk gets near you and you shoot it with a shotgun, it does no damage unless you hit it from the side. it's pretty common since shotguns are a close range weapon in the first place.

Yeah the way it was put in the changelog made is sound like he thought the bug was only the sparks and nothing else... I hope he really doesn't think that... Skulks would almost never kill shotgun marines head on when and if they fix this.
