Starting Today....

begins the worst days of my life
Aye, you read the title right.
First off, I'm gonna throw in some stuff before I mention what happened today.
I have glasses that are around 3 years old. It's no wonder they got rusty but I needed them as I'm half blind. My school has a Project Learning Week every semester, and those get really boring. And there's a girl I like that I do not wish to mention about until later.
Ok, to start it off, we had the PLW starting today, and the first trip was to the Sha Tin Water Treatment Plant, where they teach us cool stuff about it (I thought it was sewage treatment at first....lol)
Ok, so we were off to the labs, the video about the history of the Water Supplies Department, and they water treatent tanks.
That's where the horror starts.
At first, I was just looking into the filled tank (presumably filled with water from mountains and rain that have got dirt caught in them) and talking with my friends. Then all of a sudden, one lens popped out of my glasses and guess where iw ound up? Into the water treatment tank. I can't even afford sticking my hand in that because of the amount of unfiltered substance there was in it. Guess what was the next bit about it, the vice-principal saw it, first hand
And if you want to guess if he did something, he did nothing. Nada. Zero.
But that's not all, next thing we know, we're on the coach back to schol, and while I try to get some sleep, the other idiots in my class start screamng Linkin Park - Numb and I couldn't get a wink of sleep.
Back to school. Now I had to research on the water supplies, but here's the catch. I'm half-blind. That means sticking my face right on the screen just to read what it says. Throw in the fact that my nazi of an IT teacher disabled almost everything, you can guess why I couldn't crank up the font size
Bleh, cut to AFTER school. She asks me to help her with something. Sure I help her, blablabla, nada nada. But here's where somethng goes wrong. I had the opportunity to tell her how I feel about her, but I blew it :/
But guess what's next. When I got home, my nephew leaked it out next to my computer chair. Doesn't that beat all?
Seeing all this, I concluded that it would be the worst day of my life. Why?
- Mom gets freaked out on where my lens wound up.
- Hard time doing the project I'm supposed to hand in this week. Keep in mind that I'm now half-blind and am the computer technician for my group (I never had the say BTW)
- I'm gonna feel bad most of the time because I didn't tell her.
Oh boy, I sure got a lot of work to work on....

Cheer up, it could have been a hell of a lot worse.
Just be thankful it was just your lens.
And just think of all the water molecules that can see better now b/c of your generosity.
As for that girl you like, who says this is your only chance? Im sure you will have another. Just think of that missed oppertunity as another successful effort to get to know each other better.
If my good friend Barry the Onos were here, he'd say
Go eat a marine sandwhich it will make you feel better, or if you dont like marines, its ok to substitute with ham, or turkey, or roast beef.
Focusing on the negatives will only bring you down faster. When life throws a bad week/month on you, that's when it's ok to get really sad. Just don't let it get the best of you. Recover, move on.
That way you can have the cool eye patch and the other can make you appear rich, like AllUrHive suggested.
and sorry about your glasses, better yell at the moms to get new ones
