Flayra Is Out Of Touch With The Community

<div class="IPBDescription">Current game state rant (long) - Combat</div> As has been evidenced by the past couple patches, the slow lack of updates and the completely meaningless changes made I believe I can safely say that Flayra is out of touch with the community.
He has, over time, made a good game bad, by not realizing, or not caring, that he needs extra help on the project. I believe you have one other coder do you not? On a game that over 10,000 people play you think you and one other person working on and off can support a community this large? Well, up to this point, it was working, but now your poor community is suffering at the lack of negligance. If you had ANY will to keep this game alive, the only alternative at this point is to give it up to another team, because nobody except for the newbie fanboys that have been here for 3 months is going to sit around waiting for another godawful patch that doesn't actually fix anything to come out.
I'm not talking about listening to every little suggestion the foul mouth spewing S&I forums come out with (btw, that's ALSO your fault for not cutting it off and having more moderation in that area), because it's total craptastic in there. I'm talking about listening to some of the more sensible projections made by the elder members of the community NOW AND THEN. Like how if you played the game every now and then you might have heard something about how spawn times have SUCKED since the implementation of the 2 to 3 person spawn. I could care less what the forum community says about this, if you listen to ANYONE talking while actually playing the game I haven't heard a single positive comment EVER about the spawning system.
Ladders? Still bugged since day 1. Shotties and misc other guns not registering damage at point blank range? Tested and still bugged since last night. Skulks biting through rines without them taking damage? Tested once again last night.
Class balance between aliens and marines is a joke. It seems you just do whatever you want without taking into consideration the 10,000 or so people who rely (or relied) on you to make judgements that fit their opinions about updating the game in a timely fasion implementing new design that made the game more fair to all involved.
In general, I don't believe you are fit to run the game anymore Flayra, I've heard the same opinion from many others as well, and the popular voice seems to be that you hand the game over to a team of developers willing to continue develop work on the project while also keeping in mind the commnity that follows it. Now of course this is all up to you, but do you honestly think that the community will follow you off the end of the earth while you march them toward the retail project which you're quite obviously obssessed over moreso than actually holding together your previously built community?
I for one, vote that if you save yourself some face and give the project up now to some compotent realiable team, you may yet see a good following into retail, but if you continue on your current trend of not listening to anyone you won't see a dime.
/rant end
P.S. Yes I realize it's a beta, I'm a coder by trade, and I know what goes into testing. It's the fact that none of the patches since open beta (I was in closed) have done anything remotely oriented with any of the wishes of the community or have fixed the bugs that have wandered around since forever.
In general I'm asking for a more proffessional coding/testing/everything team instead of Flayra and his one other coder and 0 testers (I see the PTs on all the time, not normally testing anything, just raping nubs)
P.S.S. If he's under a huge amount of stress or pressure, would you want him coding the game? Or would you rather he oversaw general development and had a design and testing team instead? I'd vote common sense tells me the latter is much better idea.

If the <i>final</i> release is as bad as you think it is now then I feel your comments would be valid. However, this is a BETA so any and all changes could be reversed, modified or removed and any number of bugs fixed until that final release comes out.
Note: I may be incorrect in some of my assumptions, don't flame me I am going on what I know here.
As a mather of fact Flayra/the NS team is looking for another programer acording to <a href='http://www.natural-selection.org' target='_blank'>www.natural-selection.org</a>, if they find someone that is a "l337 h4x0r" things would probably speed up abit.

With the amount of people playing I say....1 week will get you 5 coders and 12-15 dedicated testers to play the game. With enough work we can get this game bug free and balanced 3 weeks after that.

Yes you would very probably get 5 coders 1 one week, but then are these "coders" actually any good at programing... it takes time to check all people who want the job. The play testers would sertantly not be a big problem as there has ben closed betas before.
You know nothing about what you're talking about and jump to huge conclusions based on your own false assumptions.
We don't allow personal attacks around here... and moreso, doing it to the person who *created* this community in the first place has to be borderline insanity.
Be thankful that I'm just locking this.
If you feel you would like to comment on the *development process* and can manage to do so without having to resort to personal assaults then feel free to open a thread for that discussion.
This is your first warning... I don't give second ones.
