What is the text saying marine CC health and alien hive health? Is that a client side hook or a server modification?

If it is a client side hook(program you are running) then guess what, so are many cheats so C-D wouldn't allow it.

Same problem with me.

Having played the day before yesterday, i started Steam this morning and it autoupated a small file (Demo recording ...). Since that update I can`t join a game.

CD ist uptodate and i even reinstalled Steam and NS - same problem <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

This usually happens when steam updates. I get this error to as does everyone with C-D(try any HL mod and you'll see the same error).

There is a newer(beta) version but they specificly stated don't post the link elsewhere(they just want to test it, not eat up all their bandwidth.). Hop over to UA and look in their cheating-death support forums, you'll find it soon enough.

I believe cheating death got borked with the last steam update, so stop running cheating death and wait a day or so for a new version to be released..

I had the same error code just last night when I upgraded my graphics card.

Solution:

Uninstall Cheating Death.
Reboot.
Get latest version from web site (i think its 1.18.2 or something like that.)
Reinstall Cheating Death from New version.

This worked for me hope it helps
