Bontago!
<div class="IPBDescription">The latest multiplayer craze!</div> 1) First, go here: <a href='http://www.bontago.com' target='_blank'>http://www.bontago.com</a>.
2) Download (11 or 23mb, depending on what version you get).
3) ??
4) Profit.
What is Bontago, you ask? Well, imagine taking an ordinary real time strategy game. Mix it up with lego blocks, tetris, and territory control, and it still wouldn't sum it up.
The goal of Bontago is, like in any other RTS, to dominate the map. This is done by capturing the flags that are spread out all over the map. Capturing them, however, isn't easy. In order to expand your own territory and get to the flag, you have to place blocks near your border. Sounds simple, no? Well, it is. But if you really want to make a difference, it's important to understand how the game works. Territory isn't meassured by blocks placed, but rather their height. Place blocks on each other, and you'll see your territory expand with a furious pace.
Again, this sounds simple, now doesn't it? Well, add to that the fact that the dev team has integrated a powerful physics engine, meaning it'll be difficult to stack these blocks, without your structures falling over. oh, and the numerous bonusses, such as missiles and bombs (that'll act like mines), and you have one helluva multiplayer experience.
Go check it out!
Now here's a few screenies:

<img src='http://www.bontago.com/images/detonate.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
(and for the curious: Use Q to level your blocks, a and s to rotate the blocks, and the mouse to move them around)

Go get it boys and let's get a bigger game going!!
Looks as much fun as Warning Forever.
I have a GeForce4 MX 420, and it runs fine for me.
Is there a height restriction?
Yes.
Because, chances are that one of those fiery orbs are <s>getting close to our village</s> going to hit one of the other upgrades, which might set off another, but meanwhile another volcano piece is going to hit a totally different upgrade.
Result being that your board is tilted by 2 fans, and that you get an earthquake.
Not so good if you have large stacks ready :/

ok... mine is prehistorical , it's an ati rage xpert 128 , and Bontago keeps crashing even in minimal details mode.
So you like, graduated already? Because I remember this was someone's (your) project at DigiPen and that was a while ago, I thought.
Yar, Me and Anachronism even registered for the forums on back to back days.... Creepy that I never knew another DP'er went to these forums.

There's probably more, but they just don't speak up/post.
/just sayin'
Let's see: teamplay? check. My own choice of music playlist? Check. Skill <i>and</i> stategy? Check. Playable performance on my relatively ancient GeForce2? Check. Good price? Hell yeah!:D
This game officially rocks. Now it's time to set up my Microsoft Sidewinder Strategic Commander and go nuts with setting the rotational axes to keyboard shortcuts for super-intuitive controls (try saying that three times fast).
