Retail Cs, Ns, And Ase

Alright, Im running the retail version of Counter-Strike 1.0.0.5 and NS 2.0 (or the latest that's not steam). For some reason, The All Seeing Eye doesn't detect the NS mod and I can't connect to games via ASE. I can manually enter servers to see, but when I try to connect to one, I get the message: "Couldn't execute program. Go to View->Options->Games to configure this game." Any solutions?

    go to view->options-> games and point ase at the games.

    Maybe I just didn't understand you, but that didn't work. I can connect to CS games, but I can't connect to NS games. My friend gave me the IPs of a few servers and I added them to my favorites so I could try to connect. I can view the servers through ASE, but it won't let me connect to them.

    try the ASE Boards

    It sounds like you just need to make sure that ASE is pointed at the NS executable.
