<div class="IPBDescription">Can not play NS on 2 machines</div> Hey all,

Me and my bro play used to play NS all the time, we tried to play last night and it would not let both of us in at the same time, and there a bunch of free slots. we are both behind the same router and it always let us play before.

I am running a Netgear router if that helps.

thanks
Valoris

Might some kind of server mod that doesnt allow 2 players from the same IP?

I know in games like CS its frowned upon because one dead person could easily spy on the other team using Spectator and each others screens. Same IP from 2 players means they are on a LAN and they could be using this spying thing. How that applies to NS, it doesnt much but I wouldnt be surprised if a server mod was carried over to NS that had the same protection.

Also theres the fact of ports, one of you will need to add something to their game shortcut. I remember it from pre-Steam days it was something like -port 27016 but that lead straight to hl.exe and now with steam I have no idea how to set such flags.

Anyone else that knows how to set that with Steam?
