Drake wasn't credited in the original release thread, on DLCSS, so it is quite impossible to know that Drake made the concept if you don't check this thread/forum.

hey numb rider, how do you get that solid of a metal effect? I went with the suggestion of Solid snake and made a layer with the sponge effect and overlayed it, but it doesn't come out as real as yours and snake's do. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

CS-Nation review A while back we had this p228 replacement as the Skin of the Day. Two things distinguished it from the rest of the p228 archives: it was not modeled off of a real gun and it was really awesome. In case that one didn't suit your fancy, here's another made-up p228 from the same modeler.
One of the best things about this replacement is that the model is nice and beefy, making it feel much more powerful than the dinky default p228. Chrono has done an excellent job on this model, as he did with the "Legion M9 Hawk" model and the detail, most noticeably on the grip and the back of the slide, really makes this model stand out. The result of all the updates and help from the DCLSS community while Snake's skin was being produced is a trio of excellent textures that fit the model very well. Also, the skin makes the gun look realistic, as though the gun wasn't produced from a mediocre concept drawing. To top it all off, the skin is high-resolution where it needs to be, with no texture stretching and what looks to be a fairly user friendly map.
The animations compiled with this gun are the defaults and bullet_head has produced another flawless compile. All and all, this whole package is excellent considering it started as a thought and a concept drawing from some forum junkie's mind. Give this one a shot and be pleasantly surprised.
see, their not crediting DRAKE at all.. I think their thinking Chrono made it all right now.. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Check <a href='http://www.csnation.net/skins/view_skin.php?id=4953' target='_blank'>http://www.csnation.net/skins/view_skin.php?id=4953</a>
