<div class="IPBDescription">doesnt seem to work :/</div> i want to make a sound play in meh secret room, ive tried making it start on, huge radius, buttons, full volume, looping, no fade, the lot but my sound just wont play. i dont get the console error cannot find sound, music is turned on but it just wont work <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

any specific reasons why?

Odds are you have your MP3 settings jacked up too high.

This is what a standard HL1 compatible MP3's settings should look like:

What you're looking for is the:

Bitrate: 256kbps
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Audio Sample Rate: 44Khz
