Inactive Mine Pack Model

<div class="IPBDescription">from I&S</div> <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=70309' target='_blank'>This</a> idea was to give inactive mines (dropped by comm or dead marines) a different model from activated, placed mines. I did a tidbit of testing (just chroming one skin actually <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->) and found that w_mine.mdl is the activated one, and w_mine2.mdl is inactive.

So I now turn this over to you modelers here in the custom forum <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

A few people in that thread had ideas for the model (personally i like simple pancake-style stack of mines).

    Yes, after I posted this I was pointed to that thread, however nothing seemed to come of that.     There's a model on the NSarmslab website of a mine with a laser effect on it, for the active mine. An urnamed mine doesn't have the laser effect, so I guess this could be used to distinguish between active or inactive mines. Of course, it could also be considered cheating, since you'll be able to see the mines easier.

    You be surprised how many idiots still run into mines they clearly see, tho sometimes in the heat of battle you dont always worry about mines. BOOOOOM!!!

    i still run into mines alot, but only in combat. In normal ns, i spot every mine i see
