How Would I Do This?

<div class="IPBDescription">Just a thought on weld spots in maps</div> Im making a map at the moment (NS classic) And I was wondering (after some self experimentation of course) how you would link a weld spot to something like a generator.
My idea is that there are two vents going into marine spawn (one is alien only, one is a kind of 'maintenance acess' path) that are actually disconnected wires for a big generator. When the spot is welded (the spot will be in a 'control room area' away form the marine base) the wires become electrified, and a bunch of lights will turn on. Also I was hoping mabye you could have a generator structure that begins to activate, and stays activated, (as in some kind of quickly rotating structre) making an ambient noise for the remainder of the round.
I can kind of understand how you would link up the lights ... But I dont know how you could trigger the electricity and have it doing damage.
