<div class="IPBDescription">Changing color</div> I've searched the forums and google but I cannot find a solution to my problem. I want to use the shotgun crosshair in Half-Life for ns but I want it to be a different color.
I have opened it with spriteviewer, saved as bmp, changed the color to red ( which other crosshairs on the .spr have so it must be legal) and saved as a 256 bmp. Then I turn it into a .spr using spritewizard and no matter what type of compression or whatever its called (additive, ect) when I play ns it has the crosshair but it also has a gray box around it showing like how it is in the .bmp.
Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Go to tutorials and look in the one for half-life sprites.
Index alpha is what you want to compile it as. Last colour in the pallete is the colour that will be used in the sprite.
