<div class="IPBDescription">Scamming an eBay scammer</div>Chances are you guys have seen this, but here it is in case you haven't.

<a href='http://personal.stevens.edu/~achadzyn/powerbook/' target='_blank'>P-P-P-Powerbook: Scamming The Scammer</a>

Synopsis is this:
1) SA goon eBay's his laptop
2) Con artist "buys" laptop through his own personal (i.e. fake) escrow service
3) Con artist is instead sent a P-P-P-Powerbook (you gotta click the link and see the pics)
4) Con artist pays 350 pounds for tarrif charges before he is even able to open the box.

Hilarity ensues, including some home brewn espionage & information gathering from the SA goons. This site has no errm... banners that are typical to SA, but it does link to the original thread, so be careful when clicking with your parents/teachers/Jesus in the room.     Just finished reading the hefty PDF version of the story. That was, without any doubt, the coolest thing I've ever read!!

    If you read somewhere around page 70-80 of the thread, the scam team had a guy in the barber shop where the P-P-P-Powerbook was being deliverd. Apparently the guy who opened it's first reaction was (and I quote) 'Is it broken?" Unfortunately the guy didn't get any pictures... would've been priceless.
