    Ooooh....

    It's like Salvador Dali made a Half-Life mod. Only stranger. And very scary, if you play it at night.

    This is an old mod, played it a loooooong time ago. Really well designed.
    Kinda disappointing ending though. Well, at least you get to choose.

    I've played the mod, and because I became frustrated (now how would that come...?) I cheated my way through the levels.

    It was one of the most original mods I've ever seen, its just so....weird!

    Somewhere in a level I found an almost transparent screenshot of the game Tyrian, has anyone seen that too?

    I only played the first one, Amen just looked too sadistic. The first one was fun though, lots of jumping and even had some side-view action. It was HARD though. I remember the part where you're in a pipe and it opens up on a room with like 20 sentry turrets and all you have is a pistol and a submachinegun. Needless to say, I cheated. It is one of the the most German things I have ever experienced.

    And what's this about Tyrian? That game rocked! I've been playing that game since I was like 10 and it's still fun. I'd go so far as to say best top-down ever. Where did you find this screenshot, for future reference?

    Yep Tyrian was even better than Raptor!
    And the screenshot is in a level, where there were 2 lifts, and 2 aliens

    Its that you have to touch 2 buttons at both lifts, and then the floor where the aliens stood upon opens..

    The screenshot is somewhere on the walls in one of those lifts..
    I'll try to find it when I when I'm back @ home, and IF I still have HL Quake Amen installed...

    Have you played "THEY HUNGER"..and i Prommes..the singleplayer mod is very..Very scary.
    I have allready been so scared of it. Dont try it at home alone with headset.

    Well i'ts half-life engine but scary. Try that mod! "They hunger"

    They Hunger is probably one of the worst single player mods that exists. Everything about it reeks of crap. Seriously, mapping, texturing, modelling, animations, skinning, all extremely sub-par. And there's a story? What story, all i remember was having to kill badly animated zombies in a cliched church and / or graveyard until i uninstalled that worthless excuse for a "mod".

    Gah, why doesn't anybody listen to me. I spammed this mod all over every forum I was registered on when it was released. Never made it a topic though.     Anyway, Half-Quake: Amen is by far the best single-player mod I've ever played and I'm eagerly waiting for the third part, Half-Quake: Sunrise.

    Woo, i'm <i>not</i> the only one who didn't like They Hunger. Only part I really liked was the final boss(s), the rest was just repetitive zombie blasting (that said isn't half-life just repetitive alien/marine blasting?).

    Play Heart of Evil, great mod, and you WONT complete it in a day. Also gets quite wierd towards the end, but in a good way... I think....

    I would link but i'm far too lazy.

    Jump on letters to make a word.
