<div class="IPBDescription">help</div> okay,well ever since I've bought my new video card I've been getting random "erors"with the game, not to mention every time I go into "console" and go back to ingame I have to press ctrl+p to reset gamma or something, everything goes super dark. anyone else having these problems? anyone know how to fix it? I know it'snot my hl...cause everything was find until I got my new video card

I have no idea what would cause this...but on a hunch i would try turning some of the more state of the art features off. Ask someone who knows something tbh. easy fix for me is....when thge game loads and the gamma is dark.

press ALT...then TAB once (dont let go of ALT) your gamma should pop back..
press TAB as many time to cycle around to halflife NS..you gamma should remain
normal

I have a 9600 XT and the game runs perfect for me.

Yeh, I got a 9600XT last week and since then my Frame rate has droped alot and I get some gamma problems. I was even considering putting ym gf4mx440 back in my PC and wait until Hl2 comes ut to switch to the 9600
