    Good work, but I don't like the glow around the symbol itself. Seems too.. mottled. I'd suggest making it a more uniform glow with an only slightly wiggly edge. (More like a glow and less cloudy I guess.)

    Careful on the flare, look at the left (black) half, the middle ray is jaggy... could just be compression.... And try to see if you can get the black to be darker on the flare, it looks grey.
