(on a side note:a other reason im not playing Steam anymore is because i lost my account and can only make one <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> if someone has a crack or something to fix this it would be appreciated..thanks)

    We're not at 4.0 yet. We're at 3.0 beta 4, which is a public beta. The next *major* release will be 3.0 final.

    On the subject of WON, as far as I'm aware, 3.0 *can* be made to work with WON although I don't know how. You'll have to get your steam account sorted out pretty soon, though, because Valve will be phasing WON out.

    If you've lost the password to your account you can always use the retrive password fuction, if you've forgotten ur login then its most likely whatever email address u used to sign up to steam.

    If you no longer have that email address and have lost the email account then im sure you can email valve with the details and they will try to confirm it.

    No, you can't. Sure, Valve has an e-mail address, but they NEVER check it. If you forget or lose your login email; boohoo, you'd better get a new serial from somewhere, for Valve won't be helping you.

    As to WON... Nope, nada, caput, finito; WON is done for, and we're stuck with Steam -no helping it.

    By the time 4.0 comes out, if ever, WON will almost certainly be dead. I'm not sure how you managed to forget the e-mail you used, which is the only way to "lose" an account, but you might as well suck it up and spend $15 on another copy of Half-Life.

    No, there is no plan even for NS 3.0 to be playable on WON-HL servers. At the moment, the beta can be tweaked to allow for it, but once NS becomes an official mod and resides in a file-hash, that capability will be going away.

    Again. WON is dying. Steam is the future.
