<div class="IPBDescription">Making them work</div> Ok, I've heard that it's better to use a func_door as an elevator... what do you guys suggest?
Please explain your suggestion, as my attempt at making an elevator caused it to go absolutely nowhere (I dun know how to tie the button to the lift platform...)

Notice the little thingy at the bottom of the func_door? This a 1 grid thick brush which is included into the func_door so the door knows where to stop.
next play arround with:
- move sound
- lip (the amount which the door should protrude)
- speed
- damage
And your elevator is done.

You don't have to do this. You could just use the Lip property.
