Rather impressive. I have to question the performance of a mouse so thoroughly painted with a rough texture that may extend all the way to the gliding surface, but otherwise it looks like a well thought-through design. Glad to see such good results come from the bit of risk-taking on the keyboard.

My thoughts exacetly...

It makes me think of HL1, more than HL2.... That said, this would win any casemod contest you entered it into.

I personally would have gone for a very metallic, smooth, blue theme. Minimalism is often the key to good casemodding.

If I was doing this I would have taken a window, shattered it, glued the broken peices to another thin window, and then apply a crowbar picture to the window to give the illusion of the crowbar breaking open the window. But I do agree he shouldn't have used the rust so much. For my keyboard/mouse I would have used black and orange. The inside of the case was awsome though.

EDIT - I forgot to mention the said window would be my case window. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />
