<div class="IPBDescription">So, I was reading this thread... right?</div> Ok, so I was just reading this interesting thread right...
It was about admin abuse, and it was a little biased, though it was very well written by a clearly intelligent person. It probably took a good deal of time to write as well. The thread I'm talking about just got deleted without warning of any kind. Heck, it got deleted while I was still reading it. I clicked to the next page and *poof* it was gone.
Now, I read the thread in question very carefully. It did complain about the moderators and the end, and linked to an example. That is probably why it was deleted, though in my opinion it probably shouldnt have been. It did make some good points and the moderators could have removed the portion of it that dealt with a specific decision and just let discussion continue.
I was a little disappointed by the moderators reaction. The real world questions and revises its rules all the time, usually in an attempt to make them more effective, or fair to the population. Why shouldn't we have the freedom to do so here, on a public discussion board?
Discussing a new idea, or something that is a potential problem never hurts. So why stifle it? In the end it can only be a good thing for the community.
