<div class="IPBDescription">Hmm... need a good tuitorial</div> Ok, I'm trying to learn XSI... but I need a good tuitorial that can teach me all I need to know from installation to my date of death (in other words, the COMPLETE IDIOTS GUIDE TO XSI MODELING <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
My main problem is... I'm to lazy to go lookin for tuitorials at 11:30 pm EST... <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
*EDIT*
DOY, I just noticed the post below... oh well, I have Ed Harris already bookmarked
I still would like to know THE best tuitorial to use (which one would YOU use?)

I think I'm hopeless... lol
I can't READ the tuitorials... much less figure out what one and what order I want / need to do them in 0o'
Meh, I hate to sound REALLY stupid... but walk me thru (via hyperlinks I guess... 0o') what tuitorials I need to do in what order like you would someone with Mental Retardation (I'm REALLY hopeless on this aren't I)
The default installation setup is different from all the tuitorials I've seen... Griz, what tuit's did you use?

You don't have to do them in the order they provide but you should definately do one through six.
U need to use the menu on the left hand side:
Get -> Primitive -> Cube (there may be another menu to get to cube..i forget)
Then press y....click on a face in perspective view, or drag over faces...then hold alt and right click (keep mouse button pressed down) and choose extrude along axis..
Amazing...u've just done one of the most basic things in XSI!
Thats the basis of how most models are formed, that and scaling and rotating vertices.
