Help!
I'm still trying to figure out how to work that whole electricity effect you can put on objects, like the walls on ns_eclipse! It also resembled the generator for that one guys combat map. I just need to know how to get that whole electricity effect going.

the electricity effect is a texture that's scrolled along a brush with slight transparency. However, this uses up entities and because it uses up entities be sure to use it sparingly.

Can someone tell me how to make it though, I need to do that. How do I make it so that it looks just like the generator from that CO map that guy made... with the electricity on it. Help me out here guys!

Get your electricity texture
Now make a brush for where you want your electricity
Now make it a func_conveyor I think it is...use an entity that will scroll your texture. I'd help you out more with this, but I am not on my mapping computer. Check TWHL if you need general help. (Google search TWHL)
Set up the FX like glass and your set!
