<div class="IPBDescription">Well maybe...</div>I thought I had a good idea: Hey why doesn't someone make a countdown thing and stick it on the front page, or on rr.org. Even better, someone write me a little vb script that sits on my desktop or something and counts down to release.

Then I realized that the release time isn't really defined so it wouldn't be official. Ah well.

Anyone feel like making me one anyway? Set it to the target time (12 : 00 EST), just so I've got something to stare at. I'm pathetic.

    Well that couldn't really work for when it is released but it would work and could tell you how many days, hours, minutes, and seconds till Halloween.

    It's based on the assumption that it will be released at 7PM GMT, but you can change that hour (though you have to change it every time you load it)

    And as far as I can tell all the code should work in asp too (was made in VB) so if anyone wants me to convert it to asp (I don't know about .net though) gimme a shout.

    Change your regional setting to the UK and it gives an accurate count down.  Or as accurate as can be had right now.

    it's because in england, we have the day first (dd/mm/yy) whereas americans (for some bizarre reason <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->) have theirs second (mm/dd/yy)

    My wristwatch has a countdown function...

    71 hours 19 minutes and 20 seconds untill NS release, gudging that it will be released about the same time as the trailer, about 0700 GMT.
