"special Waypoints"

<div class="IPBDescription">How do you use em?</div> Alrighty, I know all the alternate waypoints have existed for a while, and I've used them accidentally before. But, whats the trick to it? I can't seem to figure out exactly how to make them work consistently.

    They got all bugged up in 2.0 and haven't really worked well since. It's a shame, really - they'd make the game <i>much</i> easier for new players.

    Personally I would like being able to use the special waypoints, but sometimes I would like to place attack waypoints in areas instead of individual aliens, perhaps the ability to use a hotkey modifier to put waypoints in areas instead of individual items/people, such as guard at waypoint in a area like a hallway, or pick up equipment in a area where it would stay valid even after equipment would be picked up so people can find out the area to pick up items. Good job though

    u gotta click on a 1 pixel area to get it to work :/

    was changed so that there weren't dodgy building collisions (sinking and trapping marines in an armoury)

    as the lad who 1st replied linked to, u can use a plug-in to get it work properly.
