Farcry On Gamecube?

has anyone else heard anything about this?

it means i might actually be able to play far cry, which i currently cannot do due to my awful vid card.

It's not like it really matters. If you actually WANT to play Far Cry by having to turn way down all the details and then control it with a touchy gamepad, then be my guest, but I'd just wait a year or two until you can buy an x800, then run it with everything on Very High and water effects on Ultra High.

Well I hope it comes to the Gamecube so I can play it. I have a copy of it myself, but it won't run very well on my computer. I don't think the graphics would be all that bad on the good ol' GC.

Anyway I log some serious hours onto most of my GC games; currently: Super Smash Bros. Melee, (I'm preparing for a tourney). Personally I think it is a great platform and not all that underpowered, most dev's just haven't tapped into it yet. I mean c'mon, look at Metroid Prime and tell me those graphics weren't nice.

Err...everyone knows its going on a console. Just check their site: Console version of Far Cry with new missions for consoles!

I love my GC to death, and as Cold-NiTe pointed out, it's not as underpowered as people say.
Anyone who says it's a console for kiddies is more mistaken than the US government for not believing that Iraqi minister dude saying 'there are no WOMDs'
