<div class="IPBDescription">Noobie Turret</div> Look out. Noob modeller back again. This time I bring you a turret. I'm bound to go back to this once I finally get some skill. Well here it is

    you put useless vertecies in that cylinder you only need 2 cets of circle vertecies for a straight cylinder so get rid of the other 3 in the barell

    If you are making a straight cyclinder, you only need vertices at each end, to put what chrono said a bit more clearly. It looks like you've made a cylinder using milkshapes default values.

    To make a cylinder like the ones we are trying to describe to you that you should use, change the <b>stack</b> number on the cylinder tool to 1.

    Your turret is sweet. I'd use it rather than mine <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->. I seriously need to get better at modelling. Oh and can someone suggest a really good smoothing tutorial. I can smooth stuff to save my life.
