On my Radeon 9800pro, i can play it on several different "schemes". Like Black-white, ASCII, ASCIIgreen, inverted etc. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo--> Thats driver related though.
Yeah I would have thought it was in the nvidia settings, you can do it for the video overlay, but apparently not for opengl or direct 3d. Any other ideas?

If its an ATI card, I know for sure there is an option in the drivers for rendering openGL in black and white..
