Ok my friend is trying to install ns when he installs the 3.0b1 then b4 then b4a he gos into steam and ns is not even in there and he has tryed about 8 times now need help he realy wants to play it.

    But there's no error thing he just installs them and its not in steam

    yes, that's the same issue. ns isn't showing up in steam because it's being installed into the wrong directory. The error issue and ns not showing in steam games are two symptoms of the exact same problem. Start with the 3.0 beta 159meg(or so) installer and don't progress with the others till ns shows up in steam. Once you do the installer search your HD for the nsp folder. You'll prob find it's not installed in the directory it should be per tansals instructions. Delete that bogus install dir and rerun the installer, pointing the install dir at the correct dir, as instructed in tansals instructions. Restart steam and it should be there..
