Chambers In The Field

<div class="IPBDescription">Make them more useful</div> Often on this board when I bring up the difficulty in balancing CO and Classic NS people respond by telling me that,"Well, the aliens rely on chambers spread about the map to give them the other upgrades." Besides this not being very true anymore, (I almost never see a movement chamber anywhere other than the hive), the 'field chambers' don't give you all the upgrades. I.e. silence, focus, carapace, celerity, redemption etc. You can only get regeneration, invisibility, and extra energy. Anyway, how about changing this?
If you are near a movement you get, extra speed, silence and extra energy.
If you are near a Sensory you get, Focus, invisibility and sent of Fear.
If you are near a Defense Chamber you get, Extra Carapace, Regeneration, and Redemption.
Now, of course the power of these bonuses will depend on the number of chambers nearby, up to a max of 3 chambers. Also the bonus will never be as good as having the upgrade.
Still, with the upgrade and near the chambers we are talking major power. Until a marine blasts you out with a GL or a siege.
I think this is in line with the way the game is meant to be played and would make it more fun.

From a pub point of view it would be really unbalanced because of the number of aliens that could get an upgrade from the chambers.
In all not too bad of an idea.
Their biggest drawback is that they are usually used by people with all the tactical sense of the Light Brigade.
