<div class="IPBDescription">Well, it's a quiz...</div> <span style='color:white'> OG OG OG </span> - <a href='http://www.readyroom.org' target='_blank'>http://www.readyroom.org</a>
<span style='color:red'>*UPDATE*</span> - You can only submit your answers once! Once you have submitted them, no results from the same forum name, STEAM ID or email will be counted. Make sure you think you have them right so take your time!
First off, sorry for the name. Hypergrip (the main man behind this happening, and thus a huge thanks to him!), picked the most a-typical name possible <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
On this Tuesday, June 8th, over at the <a href='http://www.readyroom.org' target='_blank'>http://www.readyroom.org</a> , let your poor brains do some work. For 24 hours straight we will be hosting a 50 question quiz relating to everything NS. You will have only 24 hours to comeplete this multiple choice exam, and then the exam will be taken down. I know some of you may not be around during this time frame, for that I am sorry <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
The exam will go live on June 8th, at 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time and run for 24 hours. During this time frame, you may take the exam as many times as you like, share answers and the like. At the end of it all, 3 out of the top scores (assuming 50/50) will win prizes. If not enough people achieve a perfect score, it will go down to 49, 48, and so on. Keep in mind, if you guys do work together then, you are basically shrinking your chances of winning! Winning what you may ask?
First place:
$20 US. Can be used to gain a nifty constellatio icon or money to be put to use at the NS Store. Items in store will be based on cost as you see them, before shipping and such.
A nifty forum title, always gotta have one of those! Will be tailer to the winner, but will somehow make mention of you wonderful NS mind.
Second Place:
$15 US to spend freely on the NS Store. if user wishes to chip in extra money to get constellation, can be arranged.
A little less witty forum title.
Maybe a random hippy giving you thumbs up, in full blown colour!
Third Place:
A years worth of love from DXO complete with weekly back rubs, wait, wrong script.
A 'good try' forum title.
Your avatar random replaced with a picture of Redford (or some random hippy) giving you the thumbs up. Will be changed back of course.
So, to wrap it up:
Time: Noon June 8th Mountain Time - Noon June 9th Mountain Time
What: 50 question multiple choice exam. These exam will cover everything NS, and I mean everything. Game details, old NS site and members. Quotes and inside NS jokes, so a little hunting may be needed.
Where: <a href='http://www.readyroom.org' target='_blank'>http://www.readyroom.org</a> where else?

Comments
/me doesnt thinks gonna win =/
/me buys NS revision guides
Except that I have no chance of winning...
What will it be? Stats, like what is an onos total HP when it has carapace at 3 hives... or random things... like what is Flayra's real name (which I actually found out not too long ago... lol)
Maybe I could find an internetcafe <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
--Scythe--
and if people just research before answering, it wouldnt be that hard
and what if you have 100 50/50's
will it be randomly selected or something?
RAWR. THE DAY IS MINE!
A small example of what the questions will look like (NOT an actual question from the quiz):
<!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->
Who is the female voice you hear on co_daimos?
a) The mapper's girlfriend
b) The mapper's sister
c) Missy (nsradio)
d) Sindy (artificial voice by bell-labs)
e) Comprox (after his latest surgery)
<!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
Most of the questions are easy/medium difficulty; only some might be a bit harder. In most cases when you don't know the right answer you might be able to easily exclude wrong answers (because some are rather jokes). Also don't forget that you have 24 hours to roam the forums, dig around in archives of pages like <a href='http://www.readyroom.org' target='_blank'>www.readyroom.org</a>, ask people on IRC or simply try google.
Good luck, guys and have fun <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
though I think it is C... <(O.o.O)>
--Scythe-- <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
lol, lets go scythe!!!
And yes <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
if it does, you will only have to take it 250 times to get 50/50
Have fun with it!
mm I have planned a thing that will get you a high chance of winning. First one (Since it's like a 4 multiple thing per question right? Choose D next one (If it's still ABCD) Choose B next one choose C next one repeat. Note questions which is A will be the easy ones so you would know.
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Nice try, but I guess the chance to find all the answers by searching around a bit is much better than using mathematics. Oh and it's 5 possible answers per question.. there goes your victory <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
will the quiz tell you your score?
if it does, you will only have to take it 250 times to get 50/50
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Of course it will not tell you your score. If you think you got as much answers correct as possible, fill in your data and that's it. After the quiz is closed the page with the answers is autoatically exchanged with a page listing all the correct answers and a list of how many people got how many answers correct (Like "50 points: 9%, 49 points: 31%, 48 points: 2%,...).
The winners will be annonced on the frontpage (and of course notified by email) a little while later.
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
I actually don't know that...
though I think it is C... <(O.o.O)>
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Now we come to the "diggin around a bit" part. If you don't know the answer and don't want to simple guess you have to find the answer somehow. Now simply typing in "co_daimos vocal" in google will not help you (0 results here). Well, you think it could be Missy so you enter "co_daimos missy" and get one result; but it's simply a stats page showing you how a player named Missy did on that map...
Now you open you /nsp/maps directory and find a file named co_daimos.txt - the map's readme - and find the correct answer. Wasn't that hard, was it? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
/Hyper
you're getting old, dude <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
How many parasites does it take to kill a 3/3 HA Marine?
How many bites (without adrenaline) will deplete your energy bar?
How much res. does it take to build a CC, 2 IPs, a humpable (armory), and a RT (this would be a sum)?
How many forum members were there on June 5, 2004 at 10:38 PM EST?
but i don't think i will win :\
