these are listed as steam-ports in my router-config
    1200 192.168.0.1 udp'
    27000-27015 192.168.0.1 udp'
    27030-27039 192.168.0.1 tcp'

    those are listed as cs-ports
    7002-7003 192.168.0.1 tcp'
    27005-27015 192.168.0.1 udp'
    27005-27015 192.168.0.1 tcp'
    5273 192.168.0.1 tcp'

just use them all and you should be fine
if you want them more exact you should try to browse the steam-faq on <a href='http://www.steampowered.com' target='_blank'>steampowered.com</a>

unless you are hosting a server you do not need to open/foward any ports.

    Now, questions:

    Who is hosting the server?
    What are their sys specs?
how are you 2 connected? (LAN, same block, same state, same country?)

    27030-27039 192.168.0.1 tcp'

the 192.268.0.1 is my computers ip..

so you have to change it to yours

    routers ip should be 192.168.1.0 ? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

i have a simular problem. I run a server and some ppl cant connect it just freezes at 3 bars and i know for a fact this has something to do with routers / firewalls
because my friend never had this problem until he bought his router now he cant connect and it just freezes at 3 bars

if your ip starts 192.168 then this is ur internal ip with the network, you need to find ur external ip, the site suprise showed you should do that.
