Help! Router And Ports..

Me and my friend wanted to play ns, just me and him and maybe some more people but the problem is that i have a router and therfor i need to know alle the ports ns use.. Anyone know what ports it uses?
Any thing else i should now?, becouse when i tries to connect it says the server has 2000 latency and he cant connect..
we use the newst steam version of ns..

those are listed as cs-ports
7002-7003 192.168.0.1 tcp'
27005-27015 192.168.0.1 udp'

just use them all and you should be fine
if you want them more exact you should try to browse the steam-faq on <a href='http://www.steampowered.com' target='_blank'>steampowered.com</a>

What are their sys specs?
how are you 2 connected? (LAN, same block, same state, same country?)

I`m hosting the server yes..
My sysmtem specs is 512 mb ddr400, xp3200+, r9800pro =)
Same state, country..
just pop those ports in that surprise gave you and it should work....
i think they cant see the server there

I got d-link router, and where do you want me to place this 192.168.0.1? Isnt this just the routers ip?
so you have to change it to yours

because my friend never had this problem until he bought his router now he cant connect and it just freezes at 3 bars
