What will this mean for the election?
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5136703/
I find this to be really good news and interesting as well.
Do you think these good numbers will continue and how much do you think it will affect the Democratic strategy?
Do you think Kerry can do well against Bush on the War on Terror and Iraq if he can't criticize him about job loss and a poor economy?

What I want to know is if Colin Powell is going to remain a part of Bush's Administration with the amount of dissatisfaction that he has been showing over the past few months. If Powell backs down it could really hurt Bush because he is about the only guy in his admin. that swing voters would really respect.
It's called a nationwide trend. They didn't mention once that our economy "rocks", or is at a point where every whiny teenager can get a crappy job deep frying onion rings and cooking hamburgers. (Nothing against people that do so, I find hamburgers and onion rings actually quite delicious - your work is appreciated)
Part-time jobs are almost always hard to find around this time of year. College and High School students always get to them early. When I was in college, I would come back 3 weeks before the year ended to get a part-time job. That said, the job growth was not in low paying jobs, but rather, skilled high paying jobs.
If the job growth trend continues, Bush will be a lot better off.
Perhaps you should look for a decent part-time job, Aim High!
There are plenty of jobs for the taking in my town, particularly in the sub making industry. Two new Subway's and three new Quizno's are opening up, plus we're turning our "Airport Beltway" (what used to be an undeveloped country road) into a major commercial district. They already started making it a two lane highway, with many businesses jockeying for positions. Perhaps you should move here?
what the hell is wrong with everyone? Why does kerry have to have something to criticize? WHY CANT KERRY CAMPAIN AS HIMSELF?
No, every election i always see 2-4 people drag each other through the mud, and it is humorous by now.
I hate negative ad campains... and I've never voted for someone who has promoted them.

If you can't claim that you can do something better than someone else then there is no basis for the public to see you as an eligable candidate, after all, the other guy does everything you do just as good. If Kerry doesn't attack some issue that people care about, under the premise that if he were in office he would do better, then he probably has no chance what so ever of winning the election.
[edit] I will agree that simply attacking your opponent as a method of putting yourself up is a petty campain tactic to say the least. I would hope that when you claim that you can do something better than your opponent, that you don't resort to personal attacks.
