Cant Get Beta 4 Running

Problems:When i start up ns i still get the Gordon freemen with shotgun background

When i join a server i get in the ready room then steam crashes

Can i get help of possbile problems their are and how to fix step by step?

Have you checked you've installed it right.
Because of that GordenFreeman background still being there, i'd say it's a bad installation from your side.

Could somebody mind shooting me? i took a wrong patch the 4a dedicated server patch.. nevermind ns is working.
