    Looks good.

Aren't u missing a rod at the bottom tho (when slide **** back) and its missing the groves in the slide too, but other than that looks good to me.

The hammer should not be attached to the slide.

    Starting to look good.

The only thing i would try to improve is the grip (which is prolly the hardest part to get right).

i think photoshop has crosshatching somewhere and if u polygon select the area on the grip that u want to be more grippy, u can use crosshatching. altho i've not had much success with it, apparently lots of others do.

hmm i found that the back part of your pistol is wrong, there's supposed to be a groove where the hammer sits in. The grip safety is missing and the grip panel is oddly smoothed. Here's a few pics of what they should look like

    meh...prefer wow's

Plus, colt handgrip isnt perfectly smoothed all over like rabbitys, it duz have an angle to the sides.

U dont have to model the groove in the back...they didnt bother with the USP in CS and that looks fine.

I think its a good model.

I'd like to have a shot at skinning this, so I was wondering if you would be releasing the mesh, or will I just have to wait for the model to be released? <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

actually cs's USP does have the interlocking part between the slide and frame, look at it again..

Anyway, what makes a good pistol model is its minute details, such as the rails, grooves, safeties and stuff, and since the gun itself is small, it can be quite tedious, but not impossible to model. If you can, you should try to incorporate em in. Say, unlike an mp5 selector which some models have them skinned, safety on a pistol being skinned instead of modelled is quite a no no. Lil details like these are what makes it stand out than the rest.

I didnt say interlocking part...i meant the groove at the back for the hammer.

I agree with you on the detail part tho. makes <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo--> all the more fun
