    I'm pretty sure gmail has stopped giving out further invites - you can give out the ones you've got saved up, but they're not giving you any more. But as I said, I'm only pretty sure... I could be wrong.

    Have you recieved any more invites recently?

    They may or may not choose to randomly gift us with a few more invites... it all depends on whether or not they want more people testing the beta accounts.
    I don't think it's a usage measure that defines your invite count.

    They actually are still being handed out, but very infrequently. I've gotten one (and I use gmail constantly), but it was unfortunately already spoken for.

    My guess is that Google is cancelling invites that were given out but never activated, and redistributing them. There probably won't be many.

    The last few times I've gone to gmail, I haven't able to login. The login box just shows up as a "this page can not be displayed" error. And now I can't even get to the gmail page anymore.
