On one occassion, it picked 3829, on another, it picked 3629.
The fact that the number of people picking the correct number is rising, while the number of invitations remains stagnant, gives me reason to believe, that even if I were to finally obtain an answer of 3729, I would be left without an account.

I really ought to get the nextdoor neighbor's little kid over here and pay him 5$ to press the mouse button in the box, type 1337, and slap enter until he sees something different from the normal screen.

just for a quick run down:
The point of GMail is NOT the 1 gig of storage, thats just and added perk.
The main points: 1) Only adds are normal google adds (aka, invisible to me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->) 2) Good Spam blocker 3) Keyboard shortcuts! (this is why I never wanted to switch to anything outside of Pine, I was just so used to useing my keyboard) 4) Fast 5) Conversations. Instead of your email coming in cronological order, it is gathered together in conversations (this is sorta hard to explain with out showing you, but it is real nifty). 6) The Label system: Instead of creating folders and sticking emails in various places, all your email stays in one place, you just give it labels, and yes each piece/conversation can have multiple tags. Thus if I need to find all conversations with my college friends about books I can put int those 2 labels (and if I want to get more specific each one is also listed with who in in the conversation)
7) Its a geek toy <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

t3h win. My mate has the album andhe only wants the mp3's.
Then just to make me more uber happy i get this email... <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->If you e-mail me the tracks, I'd be so grateful I'd send you 2 invites if you like!<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I offered unlimited access to my old email. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
They didn't want it, but they gave me an invite anyways.
I just asked them (at gmailswap) for one, and I got an invite almost right away <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

or maybe not, damm.
Viktors do you actually have any gmail invites left?
On one occassion, it picked 3829, on another, it picked 3629.
The fact that the number of people picking the correct number is rising, while the number of invitations remains stagnant, gives me reason to believe, that even if I were to finally obtain an answer of 3729, I would be left without an account.
so when the next wave happens more accounts wil lbe up for grabs.

it's 1 - 10,000 now.
Mental inquiry: So, why do you want 1 gigabyte of e-mail space?
