<div class="IPBDescription">errr</div> errr why was that thread locked? It wasnt spam, it was someone asking a legitimate discussion question- seriously, what would be better than have a dissenter on the team. Its the crazy logic as having a Kerry-McCain ticket.....

of course, i dont doubt that that wouldnt go over well with the admins, they like their smoke-filled-room as it is.

1: don't try re-opening threads that are locked without first PMing the mod who did it.
2: try to be clearer with such sentences as: "i dont doubt that that wouldnt...." I don't mean to be nitpicky about grammar, but the presence of three conflicting negatives (don't, doubt, wouldn't) means I'm not going to waste any brainpower trying to tell whether you're trying to be critical or offer constructive criticism.
3: in response to the actual suggestion of making scooter-blue a mod:
(I speak of this from personal opinion of what it would result in, consult Nem for a more official response)
It's one thing to have conflicting opinions among staff members. It's usually even a good thing, as it tends to lead to more thoughtful discussion instead of a one-admin-leads-a-herd-of-sheep mentality. By the way this was suggested, you probably already thought of this.
But it's another thing to invite a member to be on staff when he/she has already publicly shown disrespect towards a staff member(s). It tends to lead to people in staff holding on to grudges (we're all human and guilty of this, staff members or not) and such grudges will have the exact opposite of the desired effect. Rather than putting more thought into actions, less would get done because of infighting.
