Any idea on how to get it to work?

    replace both pldecal.wad and tempdecal.wad

    Make both read-only

    That should be all you have to do (=

    I'm pretty sure the only file you need to replace is tempdecal.wad. Sorry if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is true.
