<div class="IPBDescription">..let there be light</div> So after seing a new debate on scripts just about every day here, and how it all boils down to preference. I got an idea that people that use very specialized configs could post them here, so that everyone can be 1337 and vet just by visiting this forum. Hopefully this would put an end to the everlasting arguments suggesting that; noob + scripts = vets ...

Anyways, i hope this will help someone, and i do not take credits for any scripts in this, since most of it is robbed from other ppl . Hardly any of them are useful, im just trying to keep my interest in NS alive by making scripts and cuztomizing (?) it. If anyone sees something wrong, or can help make one or more of the above scripts better PLZ let us <b>all</b> know, since its why I took the time to make this thread anyways.

Anyways, i hope this will help someone, and i do not take credits for any scripts in this, since most of it is robbed from other ppl . Hardly any of them are useful, im just trying to keep my interest in NS alive by making scripts and cuztomizing (?) it. If anyone sees something wrong, or can help make one or more of the above scripts better PLZ let us <b>all</b> know, since its why I took the time to make this thread anyways.

Also yes, the fact that there are numerous threads about scripting (also their all blocked), is the reason i started this one. I haven't tested the infinite-leap thingy, but if it really works I hope it is fixed in b5. About the other scripts: If you think you are good enough without them, be proud. If you see someone you think is using scripts to be better you can say to yourself "I can do what he needs scripts for all by myself". There you have your personal success, and you are happy. About scripts in whole I can say that:
It's like using a silencer on a gun for an ambush. It is more evil to the victim, but also an improvement for the attacker. One side will always cry while the other always laughs. Like in normal NS/CO, where there can only be ONE winner at all.

Thats why i hate flayra for bringing the lame scoreboard back for kills. For it has spawned all of this "OMG HERES A COOL SCRIPT THAT WILL H3|P j00 K1ll LI3K 50 ALi3NS!1111 W1TH 25 Bull3ts!!11" kiddies who are starting to turn NS from a teamplay mod to another, little teamwork CS mod in space.
NS is becoming more of a hassel for the commanders and serious alien players because a marine would rather Spam voice chat for a HMG to see how many aliens he can kill so he can look L337, rather then welding that phase gate outside a hive which is about to fall. The scoreboard only encouranges more rambo's. When NS is trying to get rid of the rambos and encourage more teamwork. Ive seen more teamwork in 1.0 with the kill counter and 2.0 with no scoreboard. but 3.0 seems to be a **** "lets see how l337 my score is today, screw my team" these days

I'm not against scripts except for these goddamn exploits >:(, but i only use a leap script cos i leap so much (and a flashlight script, but you can't complain about those).
I suggest to anyone who wants to use scripts: Learn how to do it without the scripts first and don't become too dependant on em.
I even more never understood why the officials (newworldsentertainment)
consider them as legal, if so please inplement them into the game as a

i myself use to admin a server it is the most popular 2.01
server in europe and it is absolutly script free since every
scripter gets kicked. btw the gameplay is perfect the players
are skilled (weapon changing over the num keys, have to
point it out since no one does it and only uses this lame last inv),
its just pure fun to know that every one uses the same gameside
possibilitys as you.
p.s. its a 2.01 server cause steam sucks and 3.0 isnt the same ns anymore
