Random Crash Bug?

I enjoy it very much (maybe even better than CS) but sometimes NS crashes, when this happens the computer freezes, and nothing responds, so I have to push the RESET button, I never have this in CS, and I cant find why its doing that, I have already switched EAX to A3D, but that deosnt helps

2X WDC 80GB
786MBDDram (pc2100)
Club3d Radeon9200 (256MB)

My OS is WINDOWS XP (fully up to date)

I really wanna play NS much more, but when it crashes (Somtimes in 5 minutes, some times in 5 hours) it takes away the fun

BTW. I talked to some other NS players and they said they have it too sometimes
but no-one nows how 2 solve it

I fixed this very problem by lowing my System Bus Speed in Bios.

166mhz -> 160mhz and it worked perfectly.

What is yours set to atm?

If it never happens in CS then it's not a Half-Life problem.
I get this too sometimes, the sound loops, the screen loses it's gamma and darkens like when you hit console and you have to get up task manager to end it, sometimes it's total lockup and you have to reset). Doesn't happen in any other HL mod.

Example, I was playing one on one on co_faceoff and I was just hopping over to central area and it froze when I entered the second room.. It's random and thankfully semi rare.

This is a crash bug caused by a malicious player that is already reported and will probably be fixed in the next version. If you see a player leaving and right after that you crash, (try to) contact one of the server's admins to ban that player. The admins probably know the bug and will look it up on the server's logs.
