For geezzzzuz sake why don't you make stuffed animals already. Get some extra money and use to help build NS to the next level. I know so many people that would buy a stuffed gorge or a bedtime onos <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Be creative. If you want I can lead this movemnt for a place on the credits or a free 1st gen colection of NS toys <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' />

It has been suggested... and suggested... and then mentioned... and then suggested again ever since ns came into existence.

To produce something as expensive as a stuffed animal (yes, it costs alot) you need to sell huge amounts of them. No matter how sure you are of the fact that everyone in the forums will buy one, guess again. They won't. Realistically speaking, let's say a thousand plushie gorges get sold (which would be a huge amount already), even that wouldn't cover the production costs by a long shot.

At current the idea is not feasible. Le fin.

There's no inbetween. Either it's flayra sitting in his house sewing together gorgies one at a time, or you have to produce them by the truckload. There's not really a middle between individual construction and mass fabrication.

The less you make, the more expensive it gets. As far as I know Flayra has already invested his life and his money into the development of ns. For us plushies are wannahaves. In real life plushies are expensive to produce and only viable in serious amounts of several thousands or more.

Unless anyone has a stuffed animal factory and a shack of supplies he's willing to offer, I think the merchandise will stick to caps, shirts, stickers, mousepads etc. Those are far cheaper to produce in smaller numbers.

ACTUALY

I have a new possibility for these.

I know some one who makes models our of pipcleaners.

So no, you can't cuddle it.
And yes they look AMAZING.
He includes flexible limbs.

I wasn't gona post this up untill he got up a sample of his work online, AND could talk to Flayra (as he is willing to do commisions, however we would prefer to do this legaly).

So for now just know that I am working on this <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

but untill he gets sample stuff online and can talk to Flay about this, it aint going anywhere <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

NOTE: These would NOT be cheap, and it is only one person working on commision.

In the future we find many people working for ns. We will see NS stuffed aliens, NS action figures so you can play ns anywhere, NS classic books such as "The gorge that ate too much", NS candy bars and candy, NS big gorge i pillow, and many more such as the ns products in the ns store.

There has to be a way to get started with like a small investment. Cause this would work and so would hats, t-shirts and mouse pad posters. I mean come on this can be endless. Prices might be higher due to the small demand but i bet 50% of the shoppers would have a high interest.

How about this:
First see how much it would cost. Then see how many people would buy one for that cost. If no one buys it, no money down. If someone does, you make a profit.
I mean it really wont hurt to ask a manufacturer how much it would be to make?

If I had the money, I'd buy a whole bunch, like 4 skulks, 2 gorges, lerk, fade, onos, then like 4 LA and 3 HA, they'd have to have velcro hands though, so you could swap out weapons, 4 LMGs, 2 shotties, 2 HMGs, and 1 GL. Then I'd play NS in my living room. Bring the kids up knowing everything about NS, so when NS2 comes out, it'll be in the blood. When it goes to the CPL, they'll win the tourney, and I'll be rich! mwahaha!

I want a stuffed gorge to, actually I always wanted a pikachu stuffed toy, but they all came with backpack feature, or just looked waaay to fatter than the original.

Maybe Ns could team up with a wide known stuffed animal company and at least make gorges. Pleeeeeeeese, I want my gorgy. Give him a hole in the back in case it actually makes the girls go away...

like i said i would be ok with that as long as the charge did not incure till shipping was completed.

i would et at least gorge, onos and skulk maybe a marnine. the velcro thing was great idea. you dont want to make plastic crap bbut same effect can be acheived with velcro hands and a gun on each rine to be swaped. stuffed animals hit more than just ns market maybe it could be the next beenie type fad.

ok.. ok.. maybe not that big but bottomline i can see girlfriends or moms of gamers likeing this stuff too!

as far as those price quotes... thats a bit bloated. you dont have to open your own toy factory <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /> just have some company that does this stuff give you a quote. simple right. never hurts to ask. if i get some guiding emails or something i copuld take something like this on and get actual prices with min quantity. all you have to do is add shipping by area right on the site and done no lost money.
