PLEASE MOVE IF IN WRONG PLACE PLEASE

I don't know if anyone here has heard of a program called Turbo Squid. It's an internet program for 3D model sales. You can upload 3D models onto it and then sell them for a price of your choosing. Just a thought for you if someone is good at modelling and needs a few buck. Don't know how well things sell on it mind you.

i was browsing the turbosquid site a few months ago and saw the official fade model. i know cory didnt put it on there, so someone was trying to pass it off as their own. not sure if its still on there, but it made me laugh.

their free models *can* sometimes be interesting to look at, but remember, there is alot of stolen work on that site.

my personal example is the Unreal2 Marine... which i downloaded from TS, and started working on assigning... my credits were wrong, because i had never seen the model before, and thought it was production-quality... and free? WHY NOT!!!?

just remember, if it looks too good to be true... it is.

crap ive ever seen... you can buy there stolen models from artists. they dont even know that someone is selling their models there.
nd you can get ripped off..sometimes you buy a model that is for free somewhere else.

Awesome. I'm in need of some more RAM so I'm thinking a Skulk model and Marine model should just about cover that? Lol just kidding of course.

I saw a robotic spider made from a tutorial from 3D World magazine on there for $100, and the one I made was ten times better. I could have made a grand!

<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Step 4: Once you have accepted a quote, payment in full is required (credit cards, PayPal®, and wire transfers are accepted). Turbo Squid will hold your money in escrow until the model has been satisfactorily completed in order to protect both you as the client and the modeler as the artist<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
