    They already do spawn fast, if you have xeno you have 3 hives which pop out aliens like the industrial revolution did to steel

    If you are the only dead alien, you won't spawn any faster than if you only had one hive, though.

    Which is... 7 seconds?


    Much faster than what the marines have.

    One hive already spawns in an alien every 7 seconds, and marine IP's spawn in every 12 seconds.

    3 hives is equivilent to about 5 marine IP's. We are talking some serious spawning power here.

    I get more of a kick seeing the complete ignorance and stupidity coming out of this thread than playing the actual game itself. I actually started laughing reading EEK's series of threads. Good stuff man, good stuff.

    Don't stop now, I bet you can get a few more pages out of this thread before it gets locked (hopefully?).

    3 hive abilities for the most part are fine, with the exception to charge and acid rocket. Forlorn's fixes sound about right. Still, one of the largest and most important things people overlook is the advantage 3 hives gives aliens for respawning. To say that spawning in that quickly still sucks would be a little... strange.


    And what does being in a clan have to do with balancing a game? Or... anything?

    just a note:

    Turrets are suposed to use different fireing sounds with higher levels. (turret-0.wav - turret-3.wav) and weapon upgrades will affect turrets in beta5.
