    I don't own an Xbox, but I would think so. I havent heard about any region resricted games for consoles, only DVDs. Of course it wouldn't be translated and would cost quite a bit more to import unless you get somone to buy it and send it to you.

    All consoles are region restricted (except for the GBA).

    Though some Xbox games are multiregion (a few Live titles), I don't think Riddick is one of them. You'll need to have your Xbox modded to play a foreign game.

    Xboxes without modchips aren't worth owning, anyway. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I honestly doubt that flint paper, of course the german or french is different because they are so hooked on EVERYTHING has to be in their languange..

    Btw. What consoles do you own? A GBA? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    What're you doubting? The consoles are region restricted, love. JP, USA, EU - no doubts about it.

    I'm not sure which Xbox games (if any) are multiregion, though. I'm sure Splinter Cell 2 was mentioned as one.

    I own all the current consoles. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    And GBA is best. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Technically they arnt region restricted its to do with the diffrent TV formats eg PAL in Europe, this effectivly restricts them to the TV zones....

    That used to be a factor, but nowadays most TVs around the world can cope with non-native signals. My UK TV can handle NTSC games just fine.

    And honestly, they are restricted. Common knowledge, just try a foreign game in any of your modern consoles.

    You can't... Unless you chip your XBox this is impossible... But when you chip your XBox you can't connect to Live! which is rather pooey.

    That is not correct, the new generation chips can be turned off for online gaming <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    SkinnY, i'm pretty sure that your area's X-Box
    games are classed as "PAL". Which is the same as
    the UK games.

    Now the reason you can't find Chronicles Of Riddick
    is because it's not reached any PAL regions yet.

    GAME claim that it'll be released on Aug 19th.
    <a href='http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=11155&mid=323789' target='_blank'>Make With The Clicking!!!</a>

    So it might be worth waiting for the PAL version.

    Only PAL games will work in Europe and as mentioned its not out for the PAL's yet so get pre-ordering.

    Yes you do. Connect to Live with an EvoX BIOS (or one of the others) and you're booted within seconds.
