Help Installing Ns Server Plz

Hi, my server seems to only run as 3.0 beta 1, I have downloaded the 3.0 beta 4 and and beta 4a patches, but it still says 3.0 (beta) when I run it. I simply installed the last 2 patches by extracting them to the c:\hlserver\NSP folder what am I doing wrong?

Read the manually carefully.
I readed it 4 times and tried to install the server at least 10 times before i got it working. I dont remember now how to install it but i do remember that I had to download some files from steam by using the cmd. ( the msdos thingy in windows ).

And if i remember correctly, the dedicated server thing which u can download from "steam - games" didnt worked on my computer...

Download dedicated server thing from steam website and just follow the manuals.

I think you have to install it to hlserver/ because it will create or copy the files into /nsp/ itself.
