So if i am to understand this right does this mean the only playable ns version will be 3.0 ? I know there aren't many 1.04 servers but i thought there was a few 2.0 servers. Although IIRC 2.0 can be played on Steam but it is buggy.

TBH im not sure whether valve have made a good move on this or not. As it forces everyone to only really play the one main version (of any hl mod) and some people are still having steam problems. But then again it is an added expense having to run both won and steam and since cd keys have to be registered it should mean overal less hackers for ns once vac is supported.

    Get everyone on Steam (which can be used as an advert) by then and you get more sales.
