<div class="IPBDescription">sorry - first time I've ever modelled</div> Ok - basically I was wandering what it was best to do with the sliding part on the gun? (sorry forgot wat it's called) Should I close off the part I've highlighted or not?

And also what do I do when I come to making the rest of the gun? Do I do it in two seperate parts or connect them (in order to allow the sliding part to kick back when animating)?

1. Yes, you should "Close" That hole. use the 'Face' Option and connect the verticles it's closed.

2. Yes, you must model it in two parts, preferebly model the trigger and the hammer, by themselves aswell.
