"reliable Channel Overflow"

Checked the bug database, nothing under that name, so I'm guessing I'll give it a try.
For the last 2 weeks, 2 out of 3 games have ended with my in-game character not being sent to the readyroom, or him being sent to the readyroom, yet all communication with the server is seemingly choppy - voicecomm will have rythmic half-second breaks, movements will have the exact same rythm as does any other form of updating. Most of the time, the server will kick me with a "reliable channel overflow" message.
Rarely, it is possible to join a game in that state. In that case my team shows up as spectator (haven't been able to get a reply on wether it does to others as well, as attempts to recreate the bug intentionally with a few friends have failed), I have no crosshair but gunfire registers (albeit.. oddly). I seem to take damage as well.
Well, no idea if this is NS specific. Anyone else able to reproduce this?

EDIT - Forgot to mention I got kicked after a while with the same error message.
Also this doesn't seam to be NS or even Steam specific.
